• Provides safe unlimited dry-firing and safe storage of M-16's, AR-15's, and other semiautomatic rifles based on the M-16.

• Eliminates the risk of negligent or accidental discharges by positively preventing the hammer from impacting the firing pin.

• Improves reliability by eliminating impact damage to the firing pin.
