Built to military specifications for the M16/AR15. The M44 incorporates 4 mounting rails allow the use of any accessory with a Picatinny or Weaver® base, including lasers, lights, optics and bi-pods. The operator will not notice additional bulk or weight as the rails are designed to be an integral part of the handguard. Thermal rubber rail covers enhance the operator�s grip and protect the rails when not in use. A metal heat shield dissipates the high temperatures produced during sustained rapid fire sequences. The carbine length (M44S) is currently available. No tools or gunsmithing required for installation.
