Same thing for the micro RMR sights-the dual illuminated version is the brightest that Trijicon makes and it’s too bright when outside for most. Is that what people usually are talking about when the mention that the reticle “blooms” in bright light, or is that something different? That’s exactly what it is-The reticles on Reflex sites aren’t like red dot sights that look like a startburst when turned up too high, but the effect is similar when in too bright of an environment-you don’t get a starburst but the reticle gets larger and fuzzier. If you get a small dot reticle it’s not a big deal, but a 12MOA or so triangle might be another story if you are trying to use the tip for a precise shot. the M1A Accessories with a wood stock is difficult to maintain at Sub MOA if you pull it in and out and damage the glass beding. so don’t remove it from the stock every time you clean it and or get a stock that does not suffer from that issue. the barrel is the heart of the rifle. damage to the crown or an eroded barrel will not shoot as accurately as one that is new. match grade barrels that are new will shoot much more accurately than ones that have been shot out. . but instead of a slot, it would have a hole about 3/8″ i.d. with about 1/16″ to 1/8″ wide surrounding material and be about 1/8″ thick.

In short, it’s just like the HK hook sling adapters for AR-15s, but made to fit between the Mossberg 500 Accessories 500 stock and receiver.
